Better Friend Functionality Here
February 21st, 2007The friend functionality I discussed in my previous post is now in place. Add a profile picture and import your contacts to see if they are members, then invite the ones that aren’t. Check it out and let us know what you think in the comments or via the suggestion form.

Hi, I’d like to know if you have or plan to release the code of the website under a free software license (that’d be awesome =)) and what kind of technology you use (Ruby on Rails, etc.).

Helder,
The site uses php. It doesn’t use a framework like Ruby on Rails. It does use sarissa for the ajax communication. We are looking at making a number of APIs available for others to utilize and contribute to the movement. They will be announced on this blog in the coming months.
